Il giardino
d'acqua
Short, 5' 55''
Venice, Italia, 2025
This video explores the Water Garden of Fondazione Querini Stampalia in Venice, a space shaped by the visionary intervention of Carlo Scarpa. Through voices, images, and architectural details, it reveals how water becomes both a living presence and a structural element of the building. The film guides the viewer through reflections, thresholds, materials, and carefully designed passages between interior and exterior.
It highlights the dialogue between Venetian history, contemporary restoration, and Scarpa’s poetic approach to space.
The result is an intimate visual journey into a garden where architecture, memory, and water continuously transform one another.
